Toyota has a loyal 4x4 consumer base and this project was about delivering to the fans a community interface within Facebook. Trails of the Unexpected is a mapping device where users add their favourite 4x4 trails across Australia as well as photos and videos of their trips. In a matter of weeks, the app and Toyota's 4x4 Facebook page gained over 30,000 fans.
