With the introduction of the international Vodafone tag-line 'Power To You', Vodafone Australia requested a new approach to the visual identity of the brand. We developed the concept of placing the brand in the hands of the consumers, and the ongoing outworking of this is a rich 3d environment with the standard brand assets gloss finished. Though I did work across the ATL concept, my primary role was to develop how this concept worked digitally.
Online, the space became less about the depth of space, and rather about allowing the user to interact with the standard ad elements. 'Pestering' interaction was used so that (almost) everything in the ads could be hit or pushed about by the user. The campaign is ongoing, but the first batch of ads were very successful, in particular tactical ads for phone buyers on Ebay. The new look and feel was then utilised actoss vodafone.com.au and through edm communication.
